Melbourne Youth Music's Teacher Professional Development Programme is designed to support growth and improvement in the professional knowledge and practice of ensemble music education for Victorian teachers of music.

With guidance from esteemed music educator Monte Mumford, learn to identify and rectify common ensemble problems associated with each instrument group, select appropriate repertoire, rehearse effectively and conduct confidently.
Explore a cross-section of ensemble fundamentals and learn to build an effective ensemble focussed on student learning outcomes, in a rewarding program that feeds your students’ curiosity and keeps them motivated and engaged.
This course will run twice in 2016 in April and August.
